THE FERRARI PAINTING RECOVERY PROJECT
I Was Born a Broken Dragon
Welcome to the world of Earle Rock Studios where you will find art works of resilience, survival & transformation. For more than three decades, my work has explored the stories that shape us.
This is a Journey to Joy through creativity.
The Ferrari Painting Recovery Project
is the newest chapter in that journey.
Created during recovery from surgery, this large-scale painting of a Ferrari 275 GTB4 documents not only the creation of an artwork, but the process of rebuilding, healing, and moving forward.
Through a series of video shorts films, visitors can follow the painting from blank canvas to completion and, for the first time, participate directly in the project as a Founder. The journey is underway, follow along.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

For more than thirty years, Earle Rock has worked as a professional painter and sculptor, creating works inspired by narratives that transcend circumstance. Earle earned his MFA from Iowa State University in 2015 and relocated to the Mid-Atlantic. Based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, his paintings and sculptures can be found in private and corporate collections and throughout the midwest and east coast. The Ferrari Recovery Project continues that journey, documenting the creation of a major new painting while exploring the relationship between art, perseverance, and renewal.
