12/08/25 Solace, now complete


Above is the painting in its finished form. A follower of ERS suggested that the new painting be titled Solace. I think that is befittig the piece. As of 12/08/25 the painting is being picked up by the printing comapany for the purpose of having it scanned for reproduction. The original piece is 40" tall by 26" wide. Once scanned, this will be made available in 2 different sizes. Pricing to come by 12/12/25.


The link below the image of the painting is to the YouTube video where the entire development of the piece is time lapsed into a brief 5 min and 40 sec. The process was split up into 6 "shorts" and individually shared on Instagram, TikTok, FB & the Earle Rock Studios SubStack page. This was a fun part of the process, documenting the work and putting the entire exercise and making it available through the various social media platforms. This approach of sharing the creative process with my followers through time lapsed shorts proved so well received that all future projects will have a similar release format. ERS will engage in producing a new painting in the same series after the beginning of the 2026 calendar. This new painting series are all coming from my photographic catalog of images and produced in the same 40" x 26" format.


In the mean time, photographic documentation of past projects will be plumbed for new material in "shorts". The wonderful part of this is that it will allow for the production of both 2-D & 3-D pieces.
